Life is not a journey...

Today evening, after work, gone to Hyatt Regency Hotel to attend my sister's golden key certificate giving day. It was a quite meaningful evening, one of the thing I learn from a quote:

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving saafely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, one hand holding a bottle of wine, the other hand holding a cigar and loudly proclaiming... WOW! What a ride!"

So work hard and get tired is one of the way to use up and get worn....hehe

Hehe... I fail my history test since the form 1, so.... errrr... if I forget you, means it could be real that I forget of you because "Yesterday is history".... good reason, huh?

Force to strip naked

change car design....

today decided to strip my car internal design.... 2 years ago, I put in 2 speaker to the front of the car, so build a dodgy simple braket to hold the speaker, and a small fan fitted in front of the bracket. Few weeks back, bought 4 set of 2nd hand those 12cmx12cm fan....an idea strike my mind, decided to pull the speaker bracket, pull that fan out and also pull the plastic cover on the side of the gear stick. Today I did that and now it just looks naked in between the car seat all the way to the gear stick and the car firewall. Bought 2 sheet of craft board, 6mm thick, quite solid and easier to saw it. Now just had manage to glue a few parts in together. Decided not to use any nails or screw, using liquid nails. Will try seal all around the speaker box to make it sounds better. 2 fan will be added too, one facing the driver and the other one facing the co-driver, so will get more cool air and stronger air, instead of sharing 1 small fan. In between around the gear stick, decided to add 2 deeper compartment...still thinking whether should add flip top or not... haha... else will look very fancy... haha.... hope it will looks coool when is done.... sure I will be impressed by my own job.... will try to take a photo of the naked stripped middle span of my internal car...... will show the "before and after" effect.... Oooops... too late... forgotten to take a photo of the before simple design..... only have a chance to take a photo of naked design..... stay tune......

cooked strawberry

Grrrrrr.....today the weather gone crazy.....hit 29.1 degree celcius in the spring.... crazy....the sun cooked my strawberry.... hmm...since it is cooked, so pluck it and we ate it... quite sweet and soft... haha.... taste goood.... ^_^

I want a 4 Wheel Drive

Today was the Telstra Rally AustraliaTrial Event (World Rally Championship Trial)...I'm driving my car, 1978 mazda 808 to the event for my duty.... Geees... that stage the road condition is more bad as I thought. Anyway, manage to get thru all those bumps and potholes... haha... The event run smooothly. After the event, with 2 stage commander and my senior, we proceed to another route to the real stage of the WRC, is about 20km away from our current location. Yeehaw.... now we can drive fast to brush up all the dust as you drive past.... yeehaw.... but the max speed limit is only 60km/h and once a while up to 70km/h and you wouldn't want it go higher as you are driving on gravel + pebbles roads, not tar road. Anyway, the purpose we going for a "Sunday drive" while checking out the real scene is to let me have an idea where to put the antenna and they want to make sure my car can reach the scene.....Oooops..... this road doens't looks goood....

Stage Commander: I think this road shouldn't be a problem for likwei to get down, but a problem to get up, so have to go on another route (longer) to get up there....

manage to drive around from 3:30pm - 6:00pm before we decided to quit today's hunt.
On our way out, is more event challenging... me and my co-driver is so excited (as crazy person)...go yeeehaw, clock 70km/h...my co-driver keep shouting hand brake hand brake when we trying to make a sharp turn on 60km/h while the back of the car swirl around.... co-driver also keep asking, you got spare tyre? 2 spare tyre?... because me missed a few bumps and potholes..... with the finger crosss, the car go "Doooom"...then we shouted ouch..... ahh.....it's so nice to drive on the track............just feel like getting a 4wd.....so no to worry too much about the "Dooom".... or "klung"......

Request to work....

Today while working, one of my mate rang me...
As we call each other boss all the time...haha...so my mate (Boss A), me (Boss B)
Boss A still working at the Asian Oriental Supermarket, Boss B used to work there as well. The big boss is the oriental supermarket boss.

Boss A: Boss, how are you? working today?
Boss B: I'm goood. how are you? Yup, working now at this moment, what's up?
Boss A: Will you be working on Thursday and Friday?
Boss B: *thinking silently, must be want me to work again*... Err...I can't give you the exact answer yet, but I can tell you that I got a few job to do in the morning and not sure what will be like untill tomorrow evening...
Boss A: Ohhh.... nothing, just wondering if you possible to work on Thursday coz I need to go for training at 4:00pm, and the big boss asked me to ask you to work....
Boss B: OOoooo...i see, but still, I can't give you the right answer at this moment....what If I let you know the answer tomorrow evening after I finish my work.
Boss A: Ok... just keep my finger cross and hopefully you able to work.
Boss B: Ok mate, I better continue my work...talk to you later....cya
Boss A: Cya.

To be continue about the reason why do not feel like working there............

My collections of strawberries

Those white color stuff or powder on the leaves is the tomato dust, sort of like pesticides to keep the cut worm, worms, snails away from damaging the strawberries.

A while back, I bought 2 small tiny pot of strawberry plants, one of them is kinda big, so I break/cut them and make it to 2 pot, so in all together got 3 pots. As usual, the original pot is not usable, so I had transfer them to a bigger pot. 2 days ago, decided to go to the nurseries and bought another 3 more pots of strawberry plants. One is the same and the other 2 are new breed again. Again, when got home, change them in to bigger pot than the previous lot. After complete changing pots, when look at the old one, makes me change them to the bigger pot again... When I pull the old plant out of the pot, oh gosh... the root had already develope around the end of boundry... Lucky me, just in time to change to a bigger pot to allow them to continue to grow.... hope that they will grow bigger and more juicy strawberries... stay tune... There already got about 5 small baby size of greenish starberries.... yumyum...can't wait... that's why make me to go buy more plants and hope to get more strawberries to eat.. yumyum... not got totally 7 pots of them..

Working day....

Today, I was taught to use another mower machinery, if I learn it by hard, then I will be one of the professional. They are the cylinder mower and the edger. The cylinder mover is heavy and abit hard to control while the edger is more tricky and is used to do the edging on the lawns.

During lunch time...Oooohh....never happen in my life before and will be the last I suppose... I took one of the apple from the shelf and one bottle of Ice lemon tea with peach flavour ($2), went to the counter and the total came to $3.05! What the....$3.05...Yes, is correct. The damn blooody apple itself is $1.05.... blardee..... never never buy that apple again. Not sure is tasty or not.... is having it, not yet give a bite on it... haha

Perth Royal Show

What so great about Perth Royal Show. If you happen to arrive Perth at this week, it is a must to be there to experience the environment. If you stay here, and is a must else do not mention yourself are staying in Australia for more than a year! It only opens once a year and only last for a week. Why is a must? I just been there, enter te wonderland at 1:00pm and get out at 7:00pm, hardly sit down, walk all around, still miss many things, and not yet finish all places. The size of the show ground is about uhmmm....about 5 times bigger than Penang Pesta showgrounds? something like that. Too many things to discover, too many things to have fun like those bungee jumping, sit on those free flying ball looks thingy. Piggy racing, dog show, cat show, chickens chow, all sorts of domestic and also is the time that most farmers around WA will bring there best chook or cow or farm animals for competition. ^_^
I had never seen such a long queue before in my life, the length is about 3 size long of those big 42 seater school bus, waiting to get $$$ out of the ATM. They just buy like no body business and seems is so cheap or the other way round, they are just rich. Show bags, from all sorts of company like coca-cola, Nestle, FHM...in the show bags will have their products or samples. you have to pay for it and is range from $10 - $20 each bag... not cheap! Kids will be having a real fun time but parents is having a real hard time for those come from lower income family. Myself having trouble time to get one show bag. Imagine, my eyes almost roll out of the eye socket when I purchase one bottle of 600ml coke and one bottle 600ml mineral water. the girl said," Its $5.50, sir." *Gulp* still have to pay... what the shame on them!
I think is the place that is sort of legal daytime robbery to allow going on! One satay stick $1.50...Blardee hell...next year if possible, I also want to open one food stall there.... just to sell satay ... make it 5 for $4....grill satay... haha...Will going out tonite to take photo...wednesday nite will be out again to take the grand celebration of 100 years anniversary fireworks show.
