Whale watch? chase? Adventure Cruise..

Just back from a few days trip. Been driving all the way down to Albany, approx 498km south west of Perth, just for Whale Chasing. So excited, got up early, had breaky and head off to the port...Wuhooo, the weather was abit overcast, whale-craft detected 3 humperbacks in the southern ocean...Without wasting time, our Captain John decided to start the engine and start our mission... out we go...slowly increasing the speed, 3 knots....6 knots.... 9 knots...13 knots...drop to 9 knots... yeehaw... there the blow holes... ~waves too rough... the 42 seater yatch sailing...up down... up down... up down...(waves were about 1.2m high)you can see the waves rose high right in front of you as the boat followed one of the waves down and I sitting on the deck about 10ft away from the front point and 3ft away from the side... can start singing the spice girls' song ~Slam it to the left....shake it to the right....slam it to the left....shake it to the right as the yatch keep cruising....waves splash...got soak with 100% salted water... sh!t..we lost them, keep chasing, whales travel at average of 6 knots and we travel about 9 1/2 knots... Oooops... This time we really lost them... well, guys...looks like we have to come back again sometimes when you are available again... let's get out of this rough waves... arrive the port with whole attire soaking wet with sea water... Thanks Captain John.... I will be back again.... Total journey took us 3 1/2 hours for return trip. Total Distance travelled approx 60km...
