A site...

All of us trying to be good, but still there is some body will claim the person that try to be helpful as "showing off", "action", "kap siao" - (talk to much in hokkien slang) and so on. We can't stop them from pointing that. Some body just sit there and read and no feedback given even though they know is wrong. So, "why bother" reaction starts to appear. Why bother to contribute and will get a nickname as "Kapster" in the end. Let it be, why bother as the guru out there will solve the problem, they themselves will read and make their own experiment to get good result... why bother why bother...Let it be mate... Next time please provide full details else do not provide at all because insufficient information is almost useless to local community.
Somebody must imagine the person reading the blog knows nothing. For example, i would say 1kg Cheddar Cheese Block. First at western country you can get them at any supermarket. But for the f#@# sake, you can't get them in supermarket like carrefour, or sunshine square and so on...You can get the kraft sliced rubber cheese, but I want the block cheese.... So again for everyone f#@# sake, at least indicate that 1kg cheddar cheese might available at local cold storage. By this way, the somebody will at least have a clue and will have more confidence to source out the parts.
So please at least be more sensible. I know we try to be good and share what is found on internet, cut N spread like butter, but still need to make it to sensible as the sauce might be limited locally.

How about a recipe teaching you to make moon cake says, "buy 1kg of lotus paste"? Where to find lotus paste? Throw the recipe away la...

If the recipe mentions how to make the lotus paste, buy lotus seeds, then it is a good recipe. Otherwise, how many people do you think can successfully make the moon cake? However, some people think diferently, as long as I can sell the cook book, who cares?
